Proposal Coordinator and Business Development Support

**Job Summary**
Egis Canada Ltd-CA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our commercial team as a Proposal Coordinator and Business Development Support. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the commercial team, including researching and sourcing opportunities, maintaining a commercial database, and facilitating vendor registration.
**Key Responsibilities**
• **Research and Sourcing**: Proactively research and identify potential business opportunities, including market sounding, expressions of interest, requests for qualification, and requests for proposal across all Egis disciplines and across Canada.
• **Commercial Database Management**: Manage and update the commercial database using CRM tools, ensuring all relevant information, including client contacts, opportunity details, and proposal documents, are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
• **Vendor Registration**: Facilitate the registration process on all relevant websites, ensuring Egis Canada Ltd-CA is recognized as a vendor with relevant clients and government agencies.
• **Proposal Administration**: Provide support for proposal development efforts, including writing content, formatting documents, creating templates, and submitting proposals on platforms.
• **Administrative Support**: Provide overall administrative support to the commercial team, including maintaining up-to-date administrative documents necessary for proposal development.
**Requirements**
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an engineering company, with knowledge of engineering, architecture, construction, infrastructure, or related field terminologies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal development and bid searching.
• Strong deductive and analytical skills to identify opportunities and explain them to the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both French and English.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Deltek is an asset.
• Knowledge of bid searching websites is an asset.
