Assistant Food and Beverage Operations Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for assisting in leading and inspiring a team in the Resort's Sensei by Nobu Restaurant, while ensuring exceptional service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in overseeing all facets of the outlet, including selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching a group of hospitality professionals.
- Maintain and control a high level of guest service, ensuring consistent and thoughtful service demonstrated by the restaurant staff.
- Provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns or special requests for guests.
- Follow Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- At least one year of management experience within food and beverage operations.
- Ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns or special requests for guests.
- Excellent knowledge of product, strong communication skills – written and verbal, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- College degree specializing in hotel/restaurant management, flexible schedule, with ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays, and experience working in a union environment.
