About the Role

This is a part-time, temporary position working in our Haemodialysis Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, answering telephones, and coordinating tests, procedures, and lab work. You will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to register patients for appointments, apply armbands, and assist drivers to locate patients. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will be essential in collecting statistics and data, including ORRS data collection and submission.

This role requires a high level of organization, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. If you are a motivated, team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Community College Office Administration Diploma (preferably Medical) or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one-year full-time recent clerical experience required, preferably in an out-patient healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required
  • Demonstrated excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
