About the Role

This is a temporary full-time opportunity with various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. As an Administrative Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Haemodialysis Department, including answering telephones, responding to inquiries, and performing tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with registration of patients, applying armbands, and re-booking missed wheel-trans rides.
  • Support unit staffing tasks, communicate with Dietary department, and collect statistics and data as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform other clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Community College Office Administration Diploma (preferably Medical) or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of recent clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, required.
