About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Squires Gastro Pub. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Proven track record of menu development and cost management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
