We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Operations Manager to join our team at Ornge. As a key member of our payroll operations team, you will be responsible for leading the processing of payroll for 700+ employees across six groups.

About the Role:
  • Promptly process payroll according to established policies and procedures to ensure timely payment to staff members.
  • Provide guidance and support to payroll coordinators, addressing any queries or issues that may arise during the payroll cycle.
  • Analyze and reconcile pay-to-pay files, ensuring accurate data entry into our ADP system.
  • Responsible for producing monthly and yearly reports and reconciliations to guarantee compliance with federal, provincial, and statutory legislation.
  • Maintain close communication with the Financial Reporting Team, providing assistance as required with payroll-related investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily payroll operations to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Lead the production of payroll-dependent reports and reconciliations on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Scheduling Team and Payroll Manager.
  • Advise on the collection, calculation, and entry of payroll data in the ADP system.
Requirements:
  • Possess a minimum of five years' experience in payroll operations, with three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrate expertise in payroll certification (PLP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hold a degree in accounting or finance, with a focus on payroll administration.
Compensation Package:
