Job Description

Cynet Systems Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week, offering a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate statements of earnings for employees, including gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data in a secure and efficient manner.
  • Prepare monthly statements and inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare T4 statements and other statements as required.
  • Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience in payroll administration, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
