About the Role

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Management professional to join our team as a Manager, Program Management. As a key member of our Program Management team, you will be responsible for delivering an In-Service Support Program for the Department of National Defence fleets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and positive influence to the Program Management team, working collaboratively with the Customer and other internal and external stakeholders to identify projects' scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Determine and propose solutions to deliver products and services as agreed under the Contract.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the Program, including the negotiation of Contract and Contract changes, coordination of proposal preparation, and performance of Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications.
  • Supervise the MAS Program team assigned to the CC-150 & CC-330 Programs.
  • Ensure the profitability of the Program in view of MAS values and other conflicting priorities.
  • Direct management personnel and specialized professionals, fostering the development, evaluating the performance of team members, and conveying and communicating corporate values within the department.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management, with 5+ years in a large-scale military program.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
  • PMP certified and/or holds a Master Degree in Project Management.
  • Personnel management experience is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
  • Deep knowledge of Program management best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, with a big picture vision.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and change management skills, including the ability to organize complex issues and situations in clear, concise, and simple models.
  • Team building and communication skills, including effective writing, briefing, and the ability to motivate.
  • Consensus building, issue resolution, problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence.
  • Dedication, commitment, and judgment, applying rigor and discipline.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
