Your Role as a Program Management Leader:

We are seeking a Program Management Leader to join our Program Management team, playing a vital role in delivering a comprehensive In-Service Support Program. Reporting directly to the Director of Program, you will oversee the provision of all products and services under the specified contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all aspects of the designated Program;
  • Collaborate closely with the customer and various Integrated Project Teams (IPTs);
  • Utilize proven skills in project planning, contract management, and customer relationship management;
  • Identify resource shortfalls or challenges within the Program and propose effective solutions;
  • Supervise the assigned Program team;
  • Ensure the performance of all projects under contract in terms of cost, quality, and schedule;
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate agreements, and resolve potential disputes;
  • Maintain the profitability of the Program while aligning with organizational values;
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of corporate values;
  • Facilitate meetings to review project progress, manage risks, and resolve conflicts;
  • Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders within a matrix organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management, including 5+ years in large-scale military programs;
  • A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field;
  • PMP certification and/or a Master’s Degree in Project Management;
  • Experience in personnel management;
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French;
  • In-depth knowledge of program management best practices;
  • Ability to think strategically and maintain a big-picture perspective;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues;
  • Team building and communication skills, including effective writing and motivation;
  • Skills in consensus building, problem-solving, and negotiation;
  • Proven leadership abilities and capacity to influence others;
  • Commitment to dedication, judgment, and discipline.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
  • Must meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
