Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. as a key member of our project delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and providing regular updates to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Delivery

Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project objectives and timelines.

Risk Management

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery, working closely with the project team and stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

Develop and maintain effective communication plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Monitoring and Control

Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the project plan.

Team Leadership

Provide guidance and support to project team members, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and expertise to deliver project objectives.

Requirements
  1. Experience

5-7 years' experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the financial services industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

Certifications

PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Desirable Skills
  1. Agile Methodologies

3+ years' experience working in an Agile environment.

Complex Project Management

3+ years' experience managing complex projects within the IT space, preferably in software delivery and customer-facing solutions.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
