Your Role

In this position, you will collaborate with our team of specialists who manage a diverse range of infrastructure initiatives. Engaging with our clients throughout Southern Ontario, our team plays a vital role in facilitating meaningful change by executing infrastructure projects such as conveyance systems, roadways, bridges, railways, and other civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership:
    • Exemplify company values and cultural behaviors.
    • Guide multiple project delivery teams.
    • Establish, nurture, and expand client and professional relationships, serving as a Trusted Advisor.
    • Lead the rollout of training and tools to enhance service delivery.
    • Delegate responsibilities and empower project delivery teams.
    • Develop a personal brand.
  • Growth:
    • Increase annual sales through leadership and industry expertise.
    • Collaborate with National Directors and Leaders beyond the Business Unit to identify and pursue opportunities.
    • Identify cross-selling opportunities.
    • Provide technical input for proposals.
  • Management:
    • Oversee the performance of project delivery teams.
    • Manage client accounts.
    • Ensure high-performing teams excel both in performance and professional practice, escalating project delivery issues to Professional Practice.
  • Quality:
    • Accountable for ensuring all project work adheres to our Quality Management System.
    • Responsible for Client Satisfaction.
    • Foster a culture of quality.
Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
  • P. Eng. and PMP designations are preferred.
  • Experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, rail, and/or water and wastewater systems.
  • A minimum of 10 years of consulting engineering experience in capital project delivery.
  • Prior exposure to capital and municipal planning for infrastructure development.
  • Extensive client-facing experience in project delivery.
  • Significantly contributed to the preparation of RFP/Qs, tenders, and tender awards.
  • Strong working knowledge of various design and construction delivery models and associated industry-standard contracts.
  • Practical understanding of provincial government planning legislation and processes.
  • Possess the leadership skills necessary to influence decisions and resolve client and project issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in scheduling software (MS Project).
