Job Title: Senior Scientist I

The University Health Network (UHN) is a leading research teaching hospital in Canada, and we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for leading an original, competitive, and independently funded research program of international caliber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a research program of international caliber, with a focus on neuroimmunology.
  • Teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, contributing to the education and development of future researchers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the University of Toronto and the Krembil Research Institute to advance our understanding of immunology and neuroscience.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline, with significant postdoctoral research experience and an established record of research excellence.
  • Demonstrated evidence of successful research funding, outstanding publications, and presentations at significant conferences.
  • Strong leadership experience in overseeing a research team, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding junior researchers.
