Job Title: Biological Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biological Research Scientist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of neuroscience and contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals.
  • Conduct research in experimental or quantitative methods.
  • Develop and implement research projects, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.
  • Prepare and present research findings in the form of reports, papers, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of neurological disorders and develop new treatments.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as neuroscience or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in research, preferably in a senior role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement complex research projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
