About the Role

This is a remote opportunity that can be based anywhere within the U.S. to perform the required responsibilities.

As a Workday Certified Canada Payroll Consultant at Intecrowd, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expertise in the Workday Canada Payroll (including Absence or Time Tracking) product suite
  • Leading the deployment team or coaching others to successfully gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Working with the client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assisting the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentoring new consultants and serving as a professional role model and coach on product knowledge
  • Resolving complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support
  • Facilitating clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
  • Maintaining clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring Intecrowd is referenceable and referable once in production
  • Providing regular status reports to project managers, keeping them apprised of overall project status
  • Innovating and suggesting new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintaining Workday certifications and qualifications
  • Ensuring functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assisting integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems)
  • Demonstrating computational thinking, identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and constructing algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs
  • Contributing to and molding a culture of continuous education amongst your colleagues, mentees, and managers - serving as a professional role model
  • Providing insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and improvements in client adoption
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions
  • Current active Workday Canada Payroll Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
  • Previous experience configuring and deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM/Payroll projects simultaneously (a plus)
  • Expected travel is +/-30% depending on project
