About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Analyst, the Payroll Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 600 employees across various jurisdictions and currencies. This position involves managing all aspects of the payroll cycle, from inputting employee data to preparing reports and remittances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for a diverse workforce, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Manage all payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and adjustments, accurately reflecting employee information in the system.
- Generate comprehensive payroll reports and analytics to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Conduct meticulous reviews of input data, transactions, and deposits to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries, providing clear and timely responses.
- Process remittances and various payroll administration tasks, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to ad-hoc information requests from internal stakeholders, providing accurate and relevant data.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business, Finance, or Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) and/or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designations are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of prevailing payroll legislation in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in financial concepts and working with numerical data.
