Workday System Specialist - Human Capital Management

The Workday System Specialist is a vital member of the Workday Support team, dedicated to configuring, enhancing, and maintaining Workday, our cloud-based software system for Human Resources, Payroll, and Finance.

As a specialist in Human Capital Management (HCM), you will leverage your expertise to address system challenges and improve user experience. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with business owners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective Workday configurations.
  • Testing, implementing, and documenting solutions while ensuring data integrity and system security.
  • Staying abreast of new Workday features and functionalities through research and evaluation of bi-annual releases.
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues, HR professionals, Finance staff, and end users on Workday functionality and best practices.
  • Acting as a backup resource in other functional areas of the Workday system.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) year Diploma/Degree in Technology, Business/Finance, Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with and leading to advanced knowledge in the human capital management aspects of enterprise resource planning systems and related business applications.
  • A minimum of three (3) years hands-on Workday configuration experience with specialty knowledge in Human Capital Management, specifically Core HCM and Payroll.
  • Proven ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement them effectively within the Workday platform.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
