Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Consultant to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our benefits team, you will provide consulting services to clients and manage projects to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability, and special risk benefits for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support client retention and mitigate risks.
  • Assess, negotiate, and report on group renewals and quote comparisons.
  • Manage the transition of benefits to new carriers and ensure client risk and exposure are mitigated.
  • Price and analyze costings, including alternative funding arrangements.
  • Act as a second chair for medium to large clients.
  • Manage client deliverables and develop annual client plans.
  • Mentor analysts and peer review work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in group benefits, providing strategic solutions to clients.
  • Deep expertise in group benefits, including funding arrangements and flex programs.
  • Superior analytical and mathematical skills, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • A positive attitude and strong team player who works well with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A solution-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency in multi-channel technology.
  • Completion of the Life License Qualification Program or ability to complete within 90 days.
  • Availability to travel on an as-needed basis.
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
  • Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or CEBS designation or currently working towards it.
