Overview
Sani Marc Group is a leading player in the Processed Food sector, with a strong presence in Western Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth in this region.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to achieve sales objectives and improve profitability. This will involve working closely with account managers, developing sales strategies, and monitoring expenses to ensure effective resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales objectives;
- Work closely with account managers to develop sales strategies and monitor performance;
- Manage expenses budget and approve expenditures;
- Supervise and mentor account managers to ensure high-quality sales performance;
- Maintain relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
Requirements
- College or university degree in Business Administration, Microbiology, Food Processing, or related field;
- Strong knowledge of the Food and Beverage sector;
- Proven experience in sales management and personnel leadership;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
