We are seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team in Western Canada. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with electrical utility corporations and contractors.
Your primary focus will be on in-person selling and account management activities to increase our brand presence and grow our customer-first business model. You will work closely with various levels of customers' organizations, including owners, engineering, operations, construction, supply chain, and executive management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a customer-first plan to expand our brand and business throughout Alberta and British Columbia's Electrical Utility market.
- Understand and integrate customers' contractual agreements, material requirements, and approval processes.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
Requirements:
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:
- A High School degree or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred.
- 2-5 years of outside sales experience.
- Ability to travel throughout North America (50-75% of the time).
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
