Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, including room assignments and billing
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options and local attractions
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address guest complaints or concerns
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
