Front Desk Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly and professionally to their needs and concerns.
- Manage the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, register transactions, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Efficiently book guest reservations and handle guest inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals, departures, and in-house activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or hotel role is an asset.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
This position may include dayshift, afternoon, or evening shifts any day of the week or weekend. The role requires long periods of standing and may involve lifting and bending. There may be periods of independent work and brief periods of exposure to cold air due to the location of the front desk.
