Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, including room reservations and cancellations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as local attractions and points of interest
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Maintain accurate records of room assignments, reservations, and guest information
  • Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Answer telephones and relay messages to guests and staff
  • Contact guests to deliver wake-up calls and provide general information

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
