Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth stay.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complaint Resolution: Resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
- Customer Service: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, provide general information about points of interest in the area, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Clerical Duties: Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
