Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Western Tractor Company Inc. This exciting opportunity involves playing a crucial role in maintaining the facility and yard while providing support to all departments across the dealership.

About the Role

This dynamic position requires someone who can effectively unload, tag, and organize incoming new and used equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a tidy and efficient yard, supporting sales operations, delivering parts between customers and dealership branches, and maintaining the sales line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload, tag, and organize incoming new and used equipment.
  • Support sales operations by assisting with John Deere audits, performing quarterly inventory counts, and tagging equipment following company policies.
  • Deliver parts between customers and dealership branches, ensuring loads are secure, complete, and documented.
  • Maintain the sales line, removing snow, addressing yard maintenance needs, and preparing equipment for winter.
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to prepare equipment for Service Technicians and support other shop tasks as needed.
  • Assist the Parts Department by unloading freight, delivering parts between branches, and managing larger parts deliveries to customers.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience operating equipment (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, tractors, or trucks) and overseeing building and yard maintenance.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products is a plus.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and internet functions.
  • A team player with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on customer service.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
