Pesce & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional services to children and youth in Lanark County, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the organization, driving strategic planning, and ensuring the successful operation of our programs and services.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with government funders, stakeholders, and community partners to advocate for ongoing funding and support.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including leadership and supervision of staff, recruitment, and performance evaluation.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory and government bodies, and manage risk to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Community Development: Build and maintain relationships and networks that promote our organization's image and reputation in the community.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective governance and management of the organization.
- Financial Management: Lead the development of budgets and capital planning to ensure financial sustainability and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Education: Graduate degree in Social Work or academic equivalent, or graduate degree in Public/Hospital/Business Administration, with an undergraduate degree in Social/Health Sciences.
- Experience: Minimum five years' management and clinical experience in a field related to mental health/social services.
- Skills: Proven experience in employee and labour relations, fiscal management, strategic planning, change management, and risk management.
- Knowledge: Knowledge and experience with projects, programs, and services with provincial or federal funding focused on health, mental health, or education.
- Professional Membership: Membership in a related professional association is required and must be maintained.
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, funders, and staff.
