Pesce & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our client, Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth (ODLCY), an accredited child and youth mental health center delivering services throughout Lanark County, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and direction to the organization, ensuring alignment with the Board of Directors' goals and objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, including management of staff, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with government funders, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure ongoing support and funding.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of children and youth in Lanark County.
  • Financial Management: Manage the organization's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Human Resources: Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality services.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the organization complies with all regulatory requirements and manages risk effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate degree in Social Work or academic equivalent, or graduate degree in Public/Hospital/Business Administration, with an undergraduate degree in Social/Health Sciences.
  • Experience: Minimum five years' management and clinical experience in a field related to mental health/social services.
  • Skills: Proven experience in employee and labour relations, fiscal management, strategic planning, change management, and risk management.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge and experience with projects, programs, and services with provincial or federal funding focused on health, mental health, or education.
  • Professional Membership: Membership in a related professional association is required and must be maintained.
  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, clients, and funders.
