Meridia Recruitment Solutions, a Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette Company, is seeking an Assistant Director of Talent & Culture.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Director of Talent & Culture and play a crucial part in shaping and executing Human Resources strategies. Your focus will be on enhancing recruitment processes, employee training, onboarding, payroll management, benefits administration, Occupational Health and Safety, compliance with HR regulations, and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily functions of the Talent & Culture Department;
  • Facilitate Talent Acquisition and Recruitment initiatives;
  • Design, assess, and refine employee engagement programs;
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI);
  • Encourage positive Employee Relations through transparent communication and mutual respect;
  • Support leadership with actionable plans based on employee insights;
  • Ensure adherence to all organizational policies, procedures, and service standards;
  • Engage in additional projects as directed by the Director of Talent & Culture.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills and be an adept problem solver. Required qualifications include:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field;
  • A minimum of 3 years of comprehensive HR Generalist experience;
  • CPHR designation (or candidacy) is highly regarded;
  • Experience in Human Resources within the Hospitality sector is advantageous;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills;
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively;
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
