Job Description

CIBC - Indigenous Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Associate Relations Manager. This position plays a vital part in supporting the administration and management of Indigenous Trusts, fostering strong relationships with Indigenous communities, and delivering tailored solutions to advance community goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Trust Officers to manage client relationships, ensuring compliance with Trust Deeds and supporting key procedures for effective administration.
  • Act as a key liaison for Indigenous communities and leadership, providing education and training on Trust matters and financial literacy.
  • Develop and implement Trust solutions aligned with community priorities, working closely with wealth partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for community leadership and members, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail.
  • Participate in Trustee and community meetings, providing valuable insights and expertise.
Requirements
  • Self-identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and investing to support complex Trust administration.
  • Able to prepare detailed, professional correspondence using specialized Trust terminology.
  • Commitment to community-led, innovative solutions and learning from Indigenous perspectives for sustainable prosperity.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary, estimated at $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
