Clinical Territory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Territory Manager to join our team at 837 GlaxoSmithKline Inc. This role will play a critical part in supporting the growth and success of our hematology oncology business.
Key Responsibilities- To expedite access to innovative hematology oncology medicines through in-depth understanding of the therapeutic landscape and nuances of hospitals/cancer centers.
- To collaborate with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and hospital centers to support patients throughout their treatment journey.
- To optimize the use of our hematology oncology medicines, aligning with GSK's values and mission, and staying ahead of hematological malignancies.
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan that maximizes territory growth, including setting short and long-term objectives for customers, HCPs, and hospital centers.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customers, hospitals, and the provincial/hospital oncology environment, identifying key levers to bring value to decision-makers.
- Stay up-to-date on GSK products, strategies, positioning, and plans in the hematology oncology space.
- Analyze competitor companies, products, positioning, and how HCPs perceive the overall landscape.
- Engage HCPs in scientific discussions to challenge status quo and promote optimal prescribing practices.
- Cultivate effective relationships with cross-functional colleagues, both in the field and head office, to create new ideas and drive patient outcomes.
- Take ownership of decisions, considering internal and external stakeholders, and prioritize the bigger picture when making trade-offs.
- Foster a results-oriented work environment by bringing positive energy and holding self and others accountable for delivering objectives.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with rules, policies, and procedures, both internally and during customer interactions.
- Represent GSK with integrity, respect, and transparency, prioritizing patient interests and protecting company reputation.
- Bachelor's degree completed; advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Significant recent hematology oncology experience (minimum 5 years), preferably in markets with key academic centers.
- In the absence of current expertise, proven performance in launching a product in a competitive market is essential.
- A self-starter driven by a desire to make a lasting positive impact on the healthcare system and hematology oncology patients.
- A persuasive individual willing to challenge status quo for patient benefit, both internally and externally.
- An innovative, agile, and fearless collaborator with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing activities to satisfactory conclusion within required timelines.
- Working knowledge of computer technology and Office-based applications, with an ability to learn new programs.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory and domestically as needed.
The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
