Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Hamilton region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business and develop relationships with potential customers.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to match new and existing prospect's needs to Waste Connections services.
  • Enter intelligence gathered into our CRM (Salesforce) system for future follow up.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of solid business to business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Experience with contract selling will be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, or comparable CRM tool is a plus.
