Clinical Leadership Nurse

CapitalCare is committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in leading the care team and delivering high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for gerontological nursing. You will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of the care team, providing safe and competent care to residents, and working collaboratively with families and internal/external customers.
As a Staff Nurse at CapitalCare, you will have the opportunity to work cooperatively with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. Your leadership skills will enable you to provide clinical supervision to the care team, manage staff assignments, and determine when to assign and supervise Restricted Activities.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Registration with CARNA or CRPNA and current BLS-HCP certification
- Canadian Nurses Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing or other relevant specialty (asset)
- Two years' nursing experience (strongly preferred)
- Computer experience to access, enter, and update information on electronic systems
You will also need to demonstrate respect and professionalism, create an empowering work environment, and support knowledge transfer. Additionally, you must comply with Health Professions Act regulations and ensure continuing competence.
We offer a competitive salary range of $39.21-$54.46 per hour, as per the UNA Collective Agreement.
