Nurse Practitioner

At CapitalCare, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a clinical leadership role. As an LPN, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet their needs and support their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Health Care Aides, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to deliver excellent care.
• Utilize your nursing expertise and leadership skills to create a positive and empowering work environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Practical Nurse program leading to a license by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
• Must be actively registered with the CLPNA
• Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience, with a strong background in clinical leadership and team management.
Personal Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of nursing clinical best practice standards and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
Salary Range:
$27.85 - $36.13 per hour, as per the AUPE AN Collective Agreement
