Clinical Leader

**Job Summary**
At CapitalCare, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our care team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the effective clinical management of the care team, ensuring the provision of safe, competent, and ethical care to residents.
- Collaborate with families, internal and external customers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide leadership to the care team, utilizing nursing process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
- Manage staff assignments, including LPNs and HCAs, and supervise the performance of restricted activities.
Qualifications:
- Registration with CARNA or CRPNA and current BLS-HCP certification are required.
- Canadian Nurses Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing or other relevant specialty is an asset.
- Two years' nursing experience is strongly preferred.
- Computer experience to access, enter, and update information on electronic information systems.

- Demonstrated respect and professionalism with staff, residents, families, and others.
- Ability to create an empowering work environment and support knowledge transfer.
- Compliance with Health Professions Act regulations and continuing competence.
- Clear and assertive communication skills.
- Awareness of accident and injury prevention, adhering to safe work practices and procedures.
Compensation:
$39.21 - $54.46 per hour as per the UNA Collective Agreement.
