Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Alberta Hospital Edmonton. As an Instructor, you will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating education for nursing staff, including orientation, compulsory, and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational, and evidence-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver education programs for nursing staff
  • Collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational, and evidence-informed practice
  • Provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care
  • Reflect the shared vision and values of AHS

Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with in-service and program development
  • Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, and initiative
  • Experience in Addiction & Mental Health
  • Experience with education delivery via Zoom
