Clinical Nurse Educator Specialist

Your Opportunity:
At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Alberta Hospital Edmonton.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating education for nursing staff, including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver education programs for nursing staff
- Collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational, and evidence-informed practice
- Provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited nursing education program, active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), and current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with in-service and program development, demonstrated creativity, flexibility, and initiative, and experience in Addiction & Mental Health and education delivery via Zoom
