About the Role

The Capital Planner will provide expertise in the assessment, prioritization, and recommendation of capital projects and support the development, monitoring, and management of capital plans for selected client departments within a capital portfolio, reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in capital project assessment, prioritization, and recommendation
  • Support the development, monitoring, and management of capital plans
  • Collaborate with client departments to understand their capital needs and priorities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare complex technical documents and reports

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as project management, engineering, architecture, or business administration
  • Extensive experience in capital planning and/or project management, including design and construction, contract management, and managing interdisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of capital planning and project management principles and techniques
  • Strong planning, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
