About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 41 Park Avenue East Holdings Inc. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Operational Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Ensure that customers receive excellent service and have a positive dining experience
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays
    • Establish work schedules
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
