Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's/Bloomfield. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as budget and cost estimates.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 1-10 food service staff, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality control.
    • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
