About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation and Service
    • Ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards
    • Supervise staff in food preparation, portioning, and presentation
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
    • Ensure that inventory is properly stored and maintained
  • Maintain Quality Control Standards
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Identify and address any quality control issues
  • Address Customer Complaints
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage Records and Reports
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity under pressure
