About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at I & I Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective meal preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery and minimizing downtime.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, optimizing inventory management and reducing waste.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, supporting data-driven decision-making.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic work atmosphere.
  • Security and Safety
    • Criminal record check, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Valid driver's license and own vehicle, for occasional transportation and travel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
