Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Sales Director to join our team at Shawflex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Canadian Nuclear market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth and Key Account Management:
    • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and increase market share in the Canadian Nuclear market.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Canadian Nuclear Utilities and industry supply chain partners.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, market analysis, and networking.
    • Develop and manage a direct end-user and channel distribution strategy to capture end-user demand of products throughout the geographic region.
    • Manage assigned accounts in the region or market, including coordinating account management activities with inside sales representatives.
  • Business Development - Marketing:
    • Conduct market segment identification and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Shawflex products and services in the Canadian Nuclear market.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic plans and sales strategies to grow our Nuclear business.
  • Internal Management:
    • Track key strategic projects that have been awarded to Shawflex and contribute to the development of sales forecasts.
    • Manage and maintain Salesforce CRM sales funnel, identify likely future sales points, and analyze win/loss data.
  • Strategic / Planning:
    • Contribute to the development of strategic and business plans for Shawflex.
    • Research and recommend potential acquisitions and partnerships to support business growth.
    • Develop and maintain SWOT analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
  • HSE/Quality:
    • Ensure commercial processes comply with industry standards and regulations, including N299/NQA-1 and other relevant requirements.
    • Support and participate in Shawflex's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) program.
    • Comply with Shawflex's Quality Assurance Program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Chemical).
  • 6-10 years of experience in the Nuclear market, with a strong background in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and apply business logic.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships and close deals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Knowledge and competence with Microsoft Office suite.
