About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Fire and Oak. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Cost Control: Manage our kitchen budget to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
