Marketing and Partnerships Leader

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Partnerships Leader to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic sponsorship and events initiatives to elevate the Interac brand.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned marketing professional with a strong background in sponsorships and events. You will lead the development and execution of long-term sponsorship strategies that amplify the Interac brand and deepen engagement with both the business community and consumers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Sponsorship Strategy:
    • Develop a comprehensive sponsorship strategy that aligns with Interac's business objectives and promotes the Interac brand.
    • Create engaging sponsorship activations that resonate with our target audience.
  2. Storytelling:
    • Extend the Interac brand narrative into sponsorship and event activations that inspire and engage.
    • Develop compelling narratives that translate complex product features into effective sponsorship activations.
  3. Go-to-Market Leadership:
    • Lead the development of quarterly and annual go-to-market plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Oversee program planning and execution, ensuring seamless integration with internal stakeholders.
  4. Budget Management:
    • Take accountability for sponsorship and events budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

You bring:

  • 10 - 15 years of marketing experience, ideally within sponsorships and events, with a strong background in financial services or payments.
  • Proven success in developing and executing B2B and B2C go-to-market strategies within a collaborative environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team collaboration skills, with a talent for integrating customer insights and market research into strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives that drive results.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience measuring, analyzing, and reporting on the effectiveness of sponsorship and marketing campaigns.
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
