About the Role

Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Sales and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a positive and professional image of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered by Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving and processing shipments, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, share knowledge and best practices, and provide support as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills, stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales and customer service.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
