Lead Collection Manager

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Job OverviewThis position is ideal for an experienced professional in debt collection with a strong leadership background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of supervisors and ensuring that staff recruiting, training, and supervisory programs are effectively utilized within company policies.
In addition to managing the team, the Lead Collection Manager will also assist in the development of comprehensive collection contact and segmentation strategies with a robust test and control framework.
Foster and promote a change management process during champion and challenger validations, while maintaining high standards of client relationship management.
Stay up-to-date on month-end positioning with respect to branch operational targets and maintain written records of reports, statistics, and other required data.
Execute operational, administrative procedures, and policies, such as audit files, review performances, evaluate results, and maintain discipline.

- Maintain high standards of client relationship management
- Monitor and report on branch operational targets
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Diploma in Administration or related field (asset)
- Experience in debt collection (3-5 years) or in the banking industry
- Experience in personnel management
- Knowledge of laws relating to debt collection (asset)
- Good negotiation skills with internal and external interlocutors
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work under tight deadlines
