About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team at CIBC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Security Office (CSO) and providing expert advice on GRC matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Reporting and Analysis: Take ownership of in-depth GRC executive reporting, analysis, and reviews, providing strong consulting expertise to all business partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: Facilitate the development and process improvements to a suite of Executive reports, providing high-level visibility into the respective lines of business within TI&I.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide technical and operational expertise based on detailed knowledge of reporting and key performance indicators to direct and influence senior management in the continued development of Business Insights and reporting environment.
  • Clear Communication: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for all TI&I GRC Executive Reporting and Insights, inspiring outcomes through clear and concise communication.
  • Relationship and Partner Management: Develop and maintain productive relationships with designated business owners, business line risk advisors, and lines of business partners to promote the exchange of best practices and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Executive and/or Governance Reporting, providing business insights.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of Tableau, MS Power Platform, and MS Office. Experience with GORM 360, eGRC, OLMS, or ORS will be considered an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: You must be a strategic thinker, a clear communicator, and a relationship builder. You should be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
