Gas Station Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Station Manager to join our team at BANCROFT PETROLEUM INC. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our gas stations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's goals.
- Price and Credit Policies: Develop and implement price and credit policies that balance customer needs with business objectives.
- Supply Chain Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our products and services, drive sales growth, and increase customer loyalty.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure adequate coverage and expertise.
- Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Gas Station Manager who possesses excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. You should have a strong understanding of retail operations, market trends, and customer behavior.
Requirements- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical, collaborative, creativity, efficiency, goal-oriented, hardworking, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, and organized.
