About the Role

BANCROFT PETROLEUM INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Station Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail fuel station, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Price and Credit Policies: Develop and implement price and credit policies that balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, increase sales, and enhance brand reputation.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize business performance.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure adequate coverage and expertise.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
