Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand, sales volumes, and competitor activity, informing decisions on merchandise and services to be sold.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
- Price and Credit Policies: Develop and implement price and credit policies that balance customer needs with business objectives.
- Supply Chain Management: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our gas stations and drive sales growth.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure adequate coverage and excellent customer service.
- Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and excellent customer service.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Gas Station Manager who possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. You will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing staff, and delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or gas station management role.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and sit for periods of time.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical skills, collaborative mindset, creativity, efficiency, goal-oriented, hardworking, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgment, and a team player.
