Role Summary:

Under the guidance of the Service Supervisor, the Service Support Specialist will assist the Service Technician in various tasks at both commercial and residential sites, as well as within the branch. This position serves as a strong foundation for a career in the propane and fuel service sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the loading of propane and/or fuel tanks onto trucks, utilizing both manual methods and mobile cranes alongside a team member.
  • Assist in the installation of propane tanks.
  • Perform trenching operations by hand or with a trencher.
  • Help Service Technicians with various installation tasks, adhering to industry standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Achieve necessary certifications for minor tasks (training will be provided).

Qualifications:

  • Must be physically fit to climb onto and off a flatbed truck.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn to operate small machinery.
  • Able to lift weights of up to 60 lbs regularly.
  • Strong emphasis on safe working practices is essential.
  • A willingness to learn and an interest in obtaining a gas license is advantageous.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including the possibility of overtime, is required.
